Buses and Roads

I sat as comfortably as possible
Inside the yellow tube with wheels
And I drift back to the series of happenstance
Thinking, I am exhausted and weak.

I snugged at my baggage,
Listening to melodies
While my drained self dozes off
To times of rhythmic harmonies.

This long and winding road
Takes too long to arrive,
I am slowyly deteriorating,
Hurry, once again, make me feel alive.

Forget the stops and the traffic lights,
Travel headstrong and forward
Take me back to where I belong
Faster now, take me home.
